Oslo is a city of many parts but the overwhelming sense is that is green though in winter no doubt very white.
But the parks have bloomed and both natural and ornamental with fountains and sculptures old and new with people basking in the warm sunshine, walking, talking and sitting.
It is no doubt the life to be lead when out of the long and dark winters.
Parts of the city reflect the old and the wealthy and other parts the diversity and poverty that exists in even in so called wealthy countries.
As a tram ride from the centre to the outer perimeter revealed ‘postcode’ matters.
