Reflections: Victoria & Albert - Ceramic cacophony!
Ceramic cacophony! The V&A is a British institution that has a collection that is second to none….probably because they stole a lot! The floor to ceiling collection of ceramics was overwhelming and the works of Peter Voulkos were mind and clay bending. We managed one floor of ceramics, did a bit of architecture, photography and then got lost!

Reflections: Saatchi Gallery - ‘Filling in the pieces in black’
‘Filling in the pieces in black’ at the Saatchi Gallery
brings together a collection of contemporary artists with a connection to the African Diaspora, through the power of their visual storytelling.
‘They say “History is Written by Victors” when it comes to the Black experience and the racism that often impacts it. The negative ramifications of this quote in relation to Colonialism and the Transatlantic slave trade have corrupted the full truth of Black history pre and post this deplorable era’.

Reflections: Saatchi Gallery - ‘If not now, when?”
Saatchi Gallery never fails to inform and challenge.
Since 1985, Saatchi Gallery has presented contemporary art exhibitions showcasing the work of emerging artists. Exhibitions which drew upon the collection of Charles Saatchi, led to Saatchi Gallery becoming a recognised authority in contemporary art globally.
‘If not now, when? Generations of Women in Sculpture in Britain 1960 - 2023’ ‘proposes a new narrative about sculpture in Britain….’ The exhibition is the outcome of a two year research project and explores a ‘wide range of artistic practices’.
