The reimagining of the Academy of Fine Arts, post fascist and communist dictatorships, is a new era for the institution and the Leipzig community. The Museum is seeking responses to its collection to reflect both the past and its future. The Museum has therefore embarked on a process of opening up to the Leipzig community, providing access to its artworks to ensure a diversity of art and artists from the past 120 years.
